There is a real shortage of experienced Software Engineering Managers and Software Development Managers. Successors are coming into the profession with few predecessors to pass on vast experience to them. Without training, mentoring, and coaching these successors repeat the same mistakes that their predecessors learnt long and hard lessons never to do again. Many employers are trying to move younger people into leadership positions, or trying to address imbalances in their inclusion and diversity. This is where I can add experience.
I will work as a Consultant Software Development Manager, Director, or VP alongside you or your chosen employee to train, coach, and mentor you or them into the position. Together we can accomplish everything you need to know about the Software Development Manager, Director, and/or VP role and lead high performing organized Software Development Teams using traditional or agile methods.
